The Pyramids Golf and Country Club is part of a huge resort project along the Cairo Alexandria Desert Road totaling 12 million square meters. Planned are 2,500 residential units, a five-star hotel, 34 man-made lagoons, restaurants, schools, hospitals, shopping centers, recreational facilities, a variety of golf courses, a lighted driving range and a fully equipped golf academy.

All 99 holes are slated to be fully operational by 2002. The first 27 holes of the course, including the championship 18-hole course are open for play. The clubhouse and adjacent swimming pool are finished. Set in magnificent surrounds, this course should not be missed.
